Bruce Colwin
is Principal of Two Degrees Strategy & Development, a business development firm which works with early-stage technology and new media companies in marketing, sales and product development, Two Degreese-commerce strategies and the development of partnerships and strategic alliances.  Clients: include CyberExtruder, MLX.com, Thoughtful, and Transparensee Systems.


Prior to forming Two Degrees, Bruce served as Executive Vice President of DuoCash, a venture-backed online payment technology company based in New York City, where he was responsible for sales, marketing and business development.

Previously, Bruce was Vice President of Business Development at Avenel Ventures, a North Carolina investment banking firm with a focus on public and private equity offerings, where he worked in developing strategic alliances and other revenue-generating activities for Avenel’s partner companies, as well as identifying and evaluating potential strategic acquisition candidates.

Bruce joined Avenel following his position as Director of Business Development for TROVIA.com, a publicly-traded ''clicks-and-mortar'' luxury goods destination, which was funded by the principals of Avenel.

Bruce has also served as Executive Director of the National Alliance of Sales & Marketing Executives (NASME) and President of the prestigious National Sales & Marketing Hall of Fame, whose inductees have included: Ted Turner, Fred Smith, Malcolm Forbes, Sam Walton, Bill Marriott, Sir. Martin Sorrell and Martha Stewart, to name just a few.

He has been a member of the Advisory Board of the New York InfoTech Forum and the New York Venture Group, as well as the National Advisory Board of ''Sales & Marketing Strategies and News,'' where he was a frequent editorial contributor. He was also Chairman of the Business Development SIG of the New York New Media Association (NYNMA) and Founder of the BizDev Network, an affiliate of the Executive Council of New York (formerly New York eComm).
